Job Description

We believe in bold ideas, diverse perspectives, and the drive to transform knowledge into impact. Here, your curiosity fuels progress, your voice shapes innovation, and your ambition helps redefine what’s possible within science and learning. We are a culture that obsesses over impact, challenges, and drives what’s next to power infinite possibilities for our customers, colleagues, and society at large.

About the Role

The Associate Research Integrity Auditor will join Wiley’s Integrity Assurance and Case Resolution team. In this role, you will assess concerns about the integrity of research submitted to or published in Wiley journals. You will manage investigations involving authors, reviewers, editors, and special issues, working within established policies and escalating complex or high-risk cases when appropriate. You will gather and assess evidence, communicate with internal and external stakeholders, and prepare clear case records and reports. You will also help identify improvements to Wiley’s research integrity processes and contribute to wider projects across the publishing team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assess research integrity concerns raised during peer review or after publication.
  • Manage defined investigations involving authors, reviewers, editors, and special issues, seeking guidance from senior colleagues where required.
  • Gather, review, and analyze evidence in line with established policies, procedures, and publication ethics standards.
  • Consult with editorial board members and work with colleagues across editorial, publishing, and research integrity teams.
  • Prepare clear case summaries, reports, and correspondence for research institutions, journals, and other publishers.
  • Identify opportunities to improve research integrity policies and processes and support the implementation of agreed changes.
  • Contribute to wider projects across the Research Integrity and Publishing teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline, such as science, medicine, social science, humanities, or another field with a strong academic research component.
  • Strong working knowledge of peer review and scholarly publishing processes.
  • Practical experience handling research integrity concerns, publication ethics cases, or comparable editorial escalations, or experience managing peer review and making editorial decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to review complex information and identify relevant evidence.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate case records.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate sensitive or complex information clearly and professionally.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage several cases and priorities at the same time.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders at different levels.
  • Confidence using digital publishing, workflow, or case-management systems.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
