The UX Research (UXR) Team is the heartbeat of Product Design at Bally’s. We are a multi skilled, innovative squad that sits at the intersection of creativity and data. We do not just perform research; we lead strategic discovery that shapes the future of our digital platforms. Reporting to the Lead UXR Designer, you will join a team that values experimentation, mentorship, and a player first mentality. We are committed to your growth, providing clear skills mapping and career development plans to help you evolve from an Associate into a craft expert.
Based in the Manchester office in a hybrid working model, with 3 days a week in office.
So, what will you be doing?
As an Associate UX Researcher, you will be the primary advocate for our players. You will help us bridge the gap between user behavior and product innovation by:
- Conducting Discovery: Planning and executing research studies—ranging from quick usability tests to deeper discovery—to uncover what our players truly need.
- Translating Insights: Turning complex behavioral data into clear, actionable recommendations that influence how our designers and product managers think.
- Analyzing Behavior: Using tools like FullStory, Maze, and Google Analytics to get a 360 degree view of the user journey.
- Collaborating Across Functions: Working side by side with Engineers, Designers, and Data Analysts to ensure your findings drive real change in the final product.
- Advocating for Quality: Maintaining high standards for our research toolkit and keeping the team inspired by the latest industry trends and UX patterns

And what will you need?
Experience:
- A foundational background in UX research, including experience with qualitative and quantitative methods such as surveys and usability testing.
- Familiarity with modern research and analytics tools like Maze, UserTesting.com, FullStory, or Google Analytics.
- Experience or a strong interest in the real money gaming or gambling industry is a major plus.
- Exposure to Figma or a background in UI or UX design is a bonus skill we would love to see.
