Associate - Retail Valuation
Team: Retail Valuation & Advisory
Location: London
We have an exciting opportunity within our growing Retail Valuation & Advisory team, where you will be specialising in valuing shopping centres, retail parks and supermarkets for a wide range of clients including lenders, investors, institutional funds and REITs. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality Red Book valuation reports, often involving complex cashflows.
You will have a keen eye for detail, strong numerical and analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to meet tight deadlines. Strong written skills are required to ensure the delivery of clear, accurate, and professional advisory reports.
This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile assets and contribute to the continued success of an ambitious, dynamic and market leading team.
Responsibilities
- Undertake existing valuation mandates and start to build contacts to attract new business
- Prepare valuations and strategic advice to a wide variety of clients
- Be able to take day to day responsibility for execution of instructions under minimal supervision
- Coordinate the use of larger teams across the valuation department
- Promote the service line to existing and prospective clients
- Start to develop a profile in the marketplace through building key client relationships
- Play an active role in the development of more junior team members
- Prepare valuation reports, in various formats

Skills & Experience
- Commercial valuation experience
- Familiar with Argus Enterprise valuation software
- MRICS qualified
- Competent in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Analytical skills to be able to draw out market trends and information
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple instructions simultaneously.
