Job Title: Dual-Hat Role (MUFG Bank & MUFG Securities EMEA)
Main Purpose of the Role
This position spans two entities:
- MUFG Bank Entity:
Support the origination and execution of securitisation transactions within the Esoteric sector vertical, with a focus on:
- Data Centre Securitisations & Digital Infrastructure assets
- Solar finance
- Sharia-compliant securitisations
- IP Royalties & emerging asset classes

- MUFG Securities Entity: Provide support to senior teams in developing the MUFG public ABS franchise in EMEA (including origination and execution of both private placement and public ABS transactions).
Key Responsibilities (MUFG Bank)

Support and/or lead (with co-ordination) the execution of securitisation transactions, renewals, amendments, and waivers, particularly:
- Esoteric vertical (including the asset classes above)
- FI or corporate client relationships, collaboratively with sector leads

Analyze and produce:
- Structural risk memoranda and reports
- Credit-related documentation (e.g., credit papers)

Review legal documentation, conduct cash flow modelling, and perform transaction due diligence.

Maintain client relationships (internal and external counterparties) and deliver high-level customer service.

Stay updated on regulatory developments and securitisation market trends.

Maintain working relationships across MUFG entities to ensure collaboration between teams.
Key Responsibilities (MUFG Securities)
- Assist in the execution of private placement and public ABS Esoteric transactions in EMEA.
- Collaborate with senior originators for EMEA-based ABS origination projects (product-agnostic approach).
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Degree-level qualification.
- Proven track record of working on securitisation transactions in EMEA, particularly in:
- Arbitrage/structured financial structuring or execution roles
- Corporate, investment banking, advisories, or rating agencies (in securitisation, structured finance, or working capital finance)
- Legal/credit/accounting background desirable but not essential.
Technical & Commercial Skills
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (meshing financial, legal, and strategic complexities). -Excellent commercial acumen & negotiation ability. -Collaborative mindset, with demonstrated interpersonal & networking skills. -Experience or aptitude for complex documentation reviews (cash flow projections, transaction due diligence).

Essential Skills
- Fluency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel (advanced analytical capability recommended).
- Fluency in one or more European languages (desirable but not mandatory).
Role Performance
Assessment is handled through the individual’s employing entity’s performance framework, with collaboration and adjustments based on evolving duties. The role also entails handling Potential Conflicts of Interest while adhering to entity-neutrality as dictated by:
- Regulatory requirements
- MUFG Bank and MUFG Securities EMEA Plc operating mandates
Dual-Hat Conflicts of Interest Management
The candidate must ensure no favouritism or mandates
- AI adherence to entity neutrality while maintaining the distinct legal integrity of MUFG Bank and MUFG Securities.
Additional Conditions
- Responsible for escalating to relevant managers in cases of potential conflicts.
- Concerns should escalate through management based on Performance and Duties laid out in the initial terms of this dual-hat arrangement agreement.
