Taylor Root has been instructed on an exceptional opportunity for two Infrastructure Finance Solicitors to join the London office of a prestigious US law firm on a permanent basis. The Role
These positions are available due to expansion and sit within a sophisticated and rapidly growing Infrastructure Finance practice that advises sponsors, infrastructure investors, private credit providers and lenders on complex, market-leading transactions across the infrastructure and real assets sector. Unlike traditional project finance teams, this practice focuses on private capital-driven deals and bespoke capital solutions, giving associates unmatched exposure to innovative financing structures and high-profile mandates.
The team is renowned for its work on cutting-edge transactions in digital infrastructure, energy transition, transport and other asset-intensive industries, and has recently undergone significant strategic investment to expand its UK presence. Associates joining this group will work at the forefront of the market and play a key role in delivering solutions for elite clients across Europe and beyond.

The Opportunity
The practice offers exposure to a broad range of sophisticated financing transactions, frequently advising across:
- Acquisition financings
- Infrastructure financings
- Holdco and hybrid financing structures
- Portfolio-level financings
- Leveraged and structured finance transactions
- Refinancings and restructurings
- Cross-border sponsor and lender-side mandates
This breadth ensures that lawyers develop deep technical expertise while gaining commercial insight into how private equity, infrastructure funds and credit investors approach infrastructure assets and real asset platforms. The role offers immediate responsibility, significant client contact and involvement in first-of-a-kind deals that shape the sector.
What They’re Looking For
Applications are welcomed from England & Wales qualified associates with:
- 1–3 PQE or 4–7 PQE
- Strong experience in infrastructure finance, leveraged finance, acquisition finance or structured finance
- Familiarity with sponsor, lender, infrastructure fund or private credit clients
- Exposure to complex cross-border financing transactions
- Excellent technical drafting and transaction management skills
- Training and experience gained at a leading international, US, Magic Circle or top-tier UK law firm

Candidates with a project finance background will be considered where they have substantial experience of sponsor-led, leveraged or acquisition financing deals.
