Why join us?

Government, Trade and Transport is one of our most vibrant sector groups; within which DWF operates a Procurement Centre of Excellence ("PCE") which is comprised of over 35 specialist contentious and non-contentious procurement practitioners.

The purpose of the PCE is to advise Contracting Authorities and strategic suppliers to Government on the biggest and most interesting / complex procurements in the UK. PCE members work collegiately and have access to a procurement portal which includes a suite of procurement precedents, and involves regular contributions to procurement articles and a market leading series of procurement training webinars (which attracts thousands of delegates a year).

Given the strength of our Government, Trade and Transport practice (as evidenced by our appointment to over 20 legal panels including RM6360, RM6240, Welsh Government, Scottish Government, EmLawshare, NWLC, Homes England, NEPO and others) we are looking to appoint Associate, Senior Associate and Director level procurement practitioners.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
