Associate/ Senior Associate - Real Estate
Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid)
Salary: £55,000 to £75,000 plus Bonus and Benefits
We are working with a highly regarded Scottish law firm to appoint an Associate or Senior Associate to join their Commercial Real Estate team based in Edinburgh.
The opportunity to join a collaborative, well-established team advising on complex development projects that are helping deliver new homes across Scotland. You'll work with an impressive client base including residential developers, housing associations, care home and later living developers, landowners, and public sector organisations, while also gaining exposure to wider commercial real estate matters.
The Role
You'll be involved in a broad range of commercial property transactions including:
- Land acquisitions and disposals for private developers and public sector clients.
- Greenfield and brownfield development projects.
- Strategic land transactions, promotion agreements, option agreements, and joint ventures.
- Preparing Deeds of Conditions for new developers.
- Supporting corporate transactions through property due diligence.
- Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team as your career progresses.

You'll work alongside specialists across planning, construction, and energy, giving you exposure to multidisciplinary, market-leading projects.
About You
You'll be a Scottish qualified Solicitor with Commercial Real Estate experience and be confident managing transactions from instruction through to completion. Experience in development work would be particularly valuable, although candidates with backgrounds in investment, asset management, or corporate support are also encouraged to apply.
You'll be commercially minded, enjoy building client relationships, and be looking to join a team where you can continue to develop your career.
