Are you ready to take the lead on complex, high-value restructuring and valuation projects?
BTG Eddisons is seeking an ambitious Associate or Senior Surveyor to join our growing Restructuring & Valuation team in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of assets, including stalled residential developments, mixed-use schemes, investment properties, development land, and distressed commercial assets.
Working closely with senior colleagues, lenders, insolvency practitioners, and other key stakeholders, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering strategic advice and practical solutions that help clients maximise value and navigate challenging situations. This is a position that offers genuine autonomy, responsibility, and the opportunity to shape projects from instruction through to conclusion.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver high-value restructuring and valuation instructions across a broad range of property sectors.
- Prepare detailed valuation reports for secured lending, restructuring, insolvency, and advisory purposes.
- Provide strategic advice on asset disposal, exit strategies, and value recovery opportunities.
- Undertake due diligence on distressed and underperforming assets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with lenders, insolvency practitioners, receivers, and other professional contacts.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while supporting the continued growth of the team.
- Mentor and support junior team members, helping to develop their technical and professional skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the wider BTG Eddisons business to deliver the best outcomes for clients.

Who We're Looking For
- MRICS qualified with strong experience in valuation, restructuring, advisory, or a related property discipline.
- Experience undertaking secured lending valuations and strategic asset reviews.
- Strong commercial awareness and the confidence to provide advice to senior stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage complex instructions across a variety of property types.
- Excellent communication, report-writing, and relationship-management skills.
- A proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused approach.
- Enthusiasm for insolvency, restructuring, and recovery work.
