What you’ll do

We are seeking to recruit an experienced lawyer (with at least 5+ years PQE) to join our successful Dispute Resolution team in Bristol.

Our Dispute Resolution team is consistently ranked in the Legal 500 and Chambers directories and is known for delivering exceptional results across a broad range of complex commercial disputes. The team specialises in commercial disputes, fraud, injunctive relief, company disputes and contentious data protection matters, acting for clients across the financial services, technology, media and telecommunications (TMT), manufacturing, healthcare and energy sectors.

We regularly advise on disputes arising from outsourced services contracts, SaaS agreements, platform development projects, and distribution arrangements, as well advising on warranty claims, shareholder disputes, financial services claims, insurance coverage disputes and professional negligence matters.

Our team works with a wide variety of local, national and international clients, ranging from business start-ups and high-net worth individuals through to multi-nationals, institutional investors, major banks and public sector bodies.

With an established client base and reputation, this is a great opportunity to join an expanding and successful team, with exposure to high quality work from the outset.

Who you are

As a naturally ambitious and self-motivated individual, you will have gained a high level of experience in a successful dispute resolution team, giving you exposure to a broad range of commercial dispute matters. Having a client following would be highly advantageous, but is not essential.

As an excellent communicator, you will excel at gaining the confidence of the clients you are working with, building strong and lasting relationships. Naturally resilient, you will be able to manage competing interests in demanding situations, and be accustomed to working in an efficient and focussed way to meet challenging deadlines.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
