Our client, a well-established and highly regarded law firm, is seeking an ambitious Commercial Litigation Solicitor (3–6 years' PQE) to join its growing Litigation team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented lawyer looking to take the next step in their career, offering exposure to high-quality work, increased responsibility, and genuine long-term career progression within a collaborative and supportive environment.

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will play a key role within a busy Commercial Litigation team, managing their own caseload while supporting senior lawyers on complex and high-value disputes. The role offers a broad range of commercial litigation work, including:

  • Contract disputes
  • Shareholder and partnership disputes
  • Contentious insolvency matters
  • General commercial litigation

In addition to fee-earning responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to become involved in business development initiatives, contribute legal articles and thought leadership content, and help strengthen client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing your own caseload of commercial litigation matters with appropriate supervision where required.
  • Advising clients on a wide range of commercial disputes and delivering practical, commercially focused legal advice.
  • Assisting senior members of the team on complex, high-value litigation.
  • Preparing court documents and progressing matters through the litigation process.
  • Attending Joint Settlement Meetings (JSMs), mediations, and other forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution.
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent service delivery.
  • Producing legal updates and articles to support the firm's marketing and business development activities.
  • Participating in networking and business development opportunities.

About You

To be considered, you will be:

  • A qualified Solicitor with between 3 and 6 years' post-qualification experience in Commercial Litigation.
  • Experienced in managing your own caseload of commercial disputes.
  • Technically strong, with excellent analytical and drafting skills.
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to provide pragmatic legal advice.
  • A confident communicator with excellent client relationship management skills.
  • Proactive, organised, and keen to contribute to the continued growth of the team.
  • Interested in developing your profile through networking and business development activities.
