We are working with an esteemed national law firm who are seeking an Associate Solicitor to join their Licensing team within their Belfast office.

The Role

The successful candidate will join a renowned Licensing & Regulatory practice, advising a broad client base on licensing and regulatory investigations, with a focus on local work across Northern Ireland across the hospitality and leisure sector. The candidate’s duties will include:

  • Advising clients on licensing requirements
  • Preparing and presenting Court applications
  • Liaising with relevant regulatory authorities
  • Tracking licence conditions, renewal dates, and compliance obligations for clients

Essential Criteria

  • 1+ PQE
  • Strong background in commercial matters with experience in licensing and related court advocacy within a medium to large commercial firm
  • Excellent commercial awareness
  • Outstanding academics
  • Negotiation skills
  • Ability to demonstrate strong commercial awareness
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
