About the Role This role is focused on institutional strategy and corporate operations. Acting as a trusted partner to the COO, you will drive the delivery of the company’s strategy, build out the corporate infrastructure to scale the platform, and help operate the leadership cadence that keeps the business on track.
Role Responsibilities Partner with the COO to deliver the company’s strategy and lead priority strategic initiatives across the business. Lead cross-functional programmes end-to-end, scoping, stakeholder alignment, delivery, and post-implementation review, across business, operations, and technology workstreams. Partner with the Company Secretary and external corporate service providers to support the maintenance and expansion of the firm’s corporate structure across multiple jurisdictions and the operational and regulatory integrity of all subsidiaries and core governance policies. Assist the COO with reporting to the Board, internal and external stakeholders to ensure the company remains compliant with applicable industry standards. Work with the COO and Head of Risk to operate and evolve the operational risk and controls framework. Manage relationships with external vendors such as corporate service providers, tax and accounting advisors, and law firms, and optimise procurement cycles to ensure service levels are aligned with rapid growth and cost-efficiency targets. Partner with Finance on the annual, quarterly, and monthly plans, business reviews, and KPI reporting. Deploy AI, agentic workflows, and process improvements to eliminate operational friction and enhance processes. Support the deal team operationally, including maintaining the transaction pipeline in the CRM and contributing to operational risk assessments for business approval.

Work Experience and Qualifications 5+ years’ experience at a top-tier strategy consultancy, investment bank, or in a prior Chief of Staff, Strategy & Operations, or Business Operations role at an institutionally-backed financial services or high-growth firm. MBA or relevant professional qualification (e.g. CFA) welcomed but not required. Detail oriented with demonstrable track record of managing complex engagements or programmes involving multiple internal and external stakeholders, tight deadlines, and multiple technical workstreams. Exhibit institutional rigour through previous experience working with Company Secretaries and external corporate service providers to maintain corporate policies, procedures, and subsidiary frameworks within a multi-jurisdictional environment. Experience scoping process improvements and digital workflows and working with technology or product teams on implementation, from requirements through rollout, including translating complex business needs into technical workflows. Familiarity with financial services products and transactions, ideally trade, supply-chain or inventory finance, structured credit, or working capital solutions, sufficient to engage with the deal team. Active user of AI tooling in a professional context, with demonstrable interest in applying AI and agentic workflows to operational processes.
