Senior Client Services Engineer – FlexTrade Systems

About You
The successful applicant will work on our flagship trading products, spanning both the implementation and support aspects of the project delivery lifecycle. You'll engage with both our global teams and our investment banking/trading clients.

Responsibilities
Relationship Management
- Liaise directly with clients to define and understand business and workflow requirements.
- Build strong rapport with client teams and stakeholders.
- Manage client expectations and clearly communicate timelines.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for allocated clients, covering:
- New requirements,
- Support inquiries,
- Project deliverables.
Implementation and Design
- Translate business and workflow requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Leverage skills in technical design and development to resolve complex challenges across diverse platforms.
- Identify technical dependencies and recommend optimal solutions.
- Collaborate with developers across the firm to design, build, test, and deploy custom solutions.
- On-board client and broker connections to our FlexLINK FIX network.
- Implement and test new FX liquidity providers onto the FlexTrade liquidity aggregation engine.
- Work alongside teams to continuously improve the product and drive future innovation.
Support
- Provide global client support, advising on queries and operational challenges.
- Take full ownership of issues from initiation to resolution.
- Proactively investigate issues, coordinating with relevant parties and escalating as necessary.
- Liaise with clients to help shape clear root cause analysis and propose actionable workarounds and solutions.

Professional Requirements
- A 2:1 Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a numerate discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics).
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders and colleagues.
- Resilience to work under pressure while maintaining a calm and composed approach.
- Strong willingness to study both business and technical aspects of the financial capital markets.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in financial software or trading environments.
- Fluency in another European language.
