Metis Search are partnering with a leading bulge-bracket investment bank seeking multiple hires at Senior Analyst to Vice President 2 level.
This role offers a chance to join a premier M&A, strategic advisory, and capital markets platform, advising on key transactions across the UK and Europe for buy-side and sell-side clients.
The team thrives in an agile and execution-driven environment, providing significant autonomy, regular stakeholder engagement, and strong exposure to high-profile deals. There’s a balanced mix of strategic and sponsor-driven M&A opportunities, along with clear career progression.

- Lead and support sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions, crafting investment cases and conducting financial analyses.
- Build financial models and valuations (DCF, LBO, comparables).
- Produce high-impact client materials, including presentations, information memoranda, and marketing decks.
- Cultivate relationships with corporate clients, management teams, and investors to bolster origination efforts.
- Collaborate closely with senior bankers in structuring, negotiating, and executing deals.
- Deliver workstreams independently and work seamlessly across the team.
Candidate Profile
Experience & Background
- 2–8 years in investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance.
- Prefer (but not essential) some exposure to the Consumer & Retail sector.
- Essential end-to-end M&A transaction experience.
- Big 4 lead advisory candidates will also be considered.

Technical & Soft Skills
- Strong foundations in financial modelling and valuation techniques.
- Ability to take ownership of analyses and drive independent workstreams.
- Commercially astute, adaptable, and resourceful—effective in tight-knit teams.
- Clear communicator with proven presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are advantageous but not mandatory.
