We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Wealth Adviser to join our London team on a permanent basis.

Job Purpose
The Associate Wealth Adviser is responsible for delivering compliant wealth advice and high-quality service to private clients.
Operating within a closely regulated environment, the role holder manages a defined portfolio of clients, delivering advice and solutions across investments, banking, wealth planning, and lending, in line with Nedbank Private Wealth policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Relationship manager for a portfolio of private clients, taking responsibility for day-to-day client servicing and advice delivery.
- Deliver compliant financial, investment, and lending advice appropriate to the client segment, in line with NPW policies and regulatory standards.
- Provide a consistently high level of service across banking, investments, entry-level wealth planning, and lending solutions.
- Prepare and issue suitability reports, recommendations, and client communications to support advice delivery and ongoing servicing.
- Manage, maintain, and develop a defined portfolio of clients, supporting retention, asset consolidation, and growth within agreed parameters.
- Identify evolving client needs and refer more complex or higher-value requirements to senior advisers where appropriate.
- Support the smooth transition of clients to other adviser segments as their financial needs become more complex.
- Maintain a high level of awareness of conduct risk and client outcomes in all interactions.
- Maintain professional qualifications ensuring you are qualified to provide financial advice and undertake ongoing CPD in line with regulatory, professional body, and NPW Training & Competency requirements.
- Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement of technical knowledge and advisory capability, including progression towards RDR Level 6 within an agreed framework – If applicable.
- Keep up to date with industry developments, regulatory change, and product knowledge relevant to the role.
- Work collaboratively with Wealth Advisers, Senior Wealth Advisers, administrators, and specialist teams to ensure efficient client service delivery.
- Contribute positively to team culture through professionalism, reliability, and strong client focus.
- Undertake such additional tasks as may reasonably be required to support business and client outcomes.

Skills and Experience
- Experience working within a regulated financial services or wealth management environment, delivering advice and client outcomes in line with regulatory, governance, and conduct standards.
- Demonstrated capability in managing client relationships and providing financial advice appropriate to the aligned client tier.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver advice in line with regulatory standards.
- Ability to manage a defined client portfolio with discipline, accuracy, and attention to detail, ensuring service commitments and regulatory timelines are met.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, credibility, and trust with clients through clear, professional communication.
- Commercially aware, with the understanding of how to identify appropriate opportunities that align client needs with NPW solutions and business objectives.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within an adviser-led team model, contributing positively to overall client outcomes and culture.
- Working knowledge of investment products, wealth planning, lending, and financial markets.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, governance, and conduct expectations.
- Good organisational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Comfortable using CRM systems, financial planning tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to manage workload independently while working effectively as part of a wider team.

Qualifications
- Relevant RDR Level 4 Investment qualification - Essential.
- CeMAP or equivalent regulated lending qualification – Desirable
