This is an excellent opportunity to join our highly regarded Healthcare Division.
Team
Our Healthcare Division is recognised as one of the leading providers of specialist legal services to the health sector, advising NHS Resolution, NHS Trusts, and medical malpractice insurers acting for private hospitals, clinics, and individual practitioners. The division handles a broad spectrum of EL/PL and clinical negligence claims, combining deep sector knowledge with a practical, solutions‑focused approach that reflects the complex and sensitive nature of the work.
Kennedys Medical Law Group plays a central role in supporting clients on some of the most challenging and high‑stakes issues in modern healthcare. The team specialises in highly sensitive medical treatment decisions and works closely with NHS Trusts on urgent and complex matters that often require swift, carefully considered legal intervention. Our work spans the full range of Court of Protection matters, including applications relating to serious medical treatment, as well as child and adult safeguarding issues, capacity and consent questions, and cases involving the deprivation of liberty. We also represent clients at inquests and in Judicial Review proceedings, ensuring they receive robust, informed support throughout every stage of the process.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
