Associate / Senior Associate – Non-Contentious Construction (1–6 PQE)
A leading City law firm is looking to appoint an Associate or Senior Associate to join its highly regarded Non-Contentious Construction team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the market's strongest specialist construction practices, advising on complex, high-value development projects for an impressive client base spanning developers, investors, lenders, occupiers and private clients. The role is dedicated exclusively to non-contentious construction work.
The firm is particularly interested in speaking with lawyers from top-tier UK, Magic Circle and leading international firms who are seeking a better work-life balance without compromising on the quality, complexity or profile of their work.
The Role
You will advise on a broad range of non-contentious construction matters, including:
- Drafting and negotiating construction documentation, including building contracts, consultant appointments, collateral warranties and security documentation.
- Advising on procurement strategies and risk allocation across major development projects.
- Supporting complex real estate, investment and finance transactions with construction input.
- Working closely with market-leading real estate and private wealth teams on some of London's most prestigious developments.
- Building strong client relationships while taking increasing responsibility as your career progresses.

About You
You will ideally have:
- 1–6 years' PQE gained at a recognised practice
- Excellent experience in non-contentious construction law.
- Strong drafting and technical skills.
- A commercial, pragmatic approach and the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
- A genuine interest in developing long-term client relationships and progressing your career within a supportive environment.
