Our Team
Eversheds Sutherland’s Structured Finance team is growing rapidly in terms of clients and work with strategic focus from the Firm’s executive. We work as a collegiate team with input and support from specialist colleagues including general banking, corporate, tax, regulatory and real estate with a wide variety of national and international clients and types of work. Our clients regard us as pragmatic, responsive, diligent, technically excellent and above all great to work with.
We are a sub-set of the Finance team and sit with the Corporate and Leveraged, Real Estate, and Project Finance teams with whom we engage strategically, professionally and socially. The successful candidate will be part of a large wider team, fully supported and engaged at all levels. We are looking for a Structured Finance lawyer to join our team, at either Associate or Senior Associate level to advise on a wide variety of types of structured finance for a variety of clients – both repeat dedicated finance clients and work sourced across the entire Eversheds international network.

Key responsibilities:
On a daily basis you will work on a wide range of structured finance matters within an international and national team environment, supporting a number of more senior lawyers and potentially supervising more junior lawyers.
Skills and experience:
We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 1 PQE, who possess strong technical skills and the ability to fit into the existing team, with experience and/or understanding of:
public and private securitisations, forward flow-funding, internal securitisations, loan portfolio sales and servicing, warehouse lending, and back-leverage
We are looking for someone with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude in applying themselves to work outside their comfort zone. We are looking for candidates who are interested in opportunities for progression and career advancement, and an interest in Structured Finance. At a Senior Associate level we would be looking for candidates with an interest, and experience in coaching/supervising junior members of the team.
