Salary: £37,280 - £39,152 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity to begin your social work career in a supportive team that works with children and young people with disabilities who require ongoing support, safeguarding and intervention. You will build experience working with children in need, those who are looked after, and children subject to child protection plans, helping to improve outcomes through relationship-based, child-centred practice.
Working closely with families, education, health professionals and partner agencies, you will contribute to assessments, care planning and effective interventions that ensure children’s voices are heard and their needs are met. As part of the wider Support and Safeguarding Service, you will develop strong working relationships with colleagues across Children’s Services and the 18–25 Moving on Service, supporting young people through key transitions.
Our structured ASYE programme will provide you with the support and development needed to thrive. You will benefit from twice-monthly supervision with a dedicated ASYE Development Manager, regular practice guidance, protected learning opportunities and a comprehensive training programme designed to help you grow in confidence and capability throughout your first year in practice. The team works county-wide with access to offices across Wiltshire, and regular travel may be required.
