Summary
The Athlete Executive plays a crucial role in the development of the Athlete Programme at AYBL. The key responsibilities of this position involve identifying and recruiting new athletes, skillfully managing existing relationships, and ensuring a seamless experience between AYBL and its athletes. The primary objective is to foster profitability in alignment with brand goals, making this role essential for supporting and driving brand growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Identifying new and relevant athletes to join AYBL’s Athlete Program.
- Skillfully managing existing relationships with our athletes, providing a flawless experience throughout the collaboration on email, video calls, and in person.
- Responsible for ensuring that all of the agreed terms of the athletes' contracts are completed to the best of their ability.
- Collaborate with other departments within the business to assist in executing campaigns, content creation, photoshoots, and events.
- A commission structure is in place for the identification, signing, and successful managing of athletes. (Detailed information available in a separate document outlining the commission scheme.)

Responsibilities and Duties
- Communicate new product launches, restocks, sales, and events (including sending out clothing packages) to athletes ensuring they have the correct and up-to-date information to share with their audience.
- Managing your athletes with regular emails, texts, video calls, phone calls to provide the best experience to help them be a successful athlete.
- Ensuring the influencer database and documents are kept up-to-date.
- Attending campaign photoshoots and events with athletes as and when required. This includes assisting in planning and preparation.
- Working with athletes, managers, and/or agencies to negotiate contracts and payment terms to maximize opportunities on behalf of AYBL.
- Providing feedback to your line manager on athlete performance.

Person Specification
- Will have a minimum of 1+ years working in a similar role
- Desired experience working with male influencers.
- A passion for the fitness/athleisure industry.
- A passion for social media, identifying trends, and new emerging athlete/talent.
- A keen interest in marketing.
- Strong Communication Skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Organized with attention to detail.
- Confident, self-motivated, and proactive.

Location
Our home is located in Redditch, South Birmingham, with easy access routes to the M5/M42, a 20-minute walk to the train station, as well as many bus routes. Not forgetting Arrow Valley Lake, which is a stone’s throw away and a beautiful spot to get those steps in or enjoy your lunch with a view.
