Atmospheric Science Expert (AI Training)
About The Role
What if your deep knowledge of atmospheric science could directly shape how AI reasons about climate, weather systems, and our planet's future? We're looking for Atmospheric Science experts to develop advanced, real-world problems that push AI models to think more rigorously about the science that matters most.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for researchers and academics who want to apply their expertise beyond the lab — and make a lasting impact on how AI understands the natural world.

What You'll Do
- Design and develop advanced atmospheric science problems grounded in real-world complexity and scientific rigor
- Apply your expertise in climate modeling, meteorology, ecology, or sustainability to challenge and improve AI reasoning
- Review and evaluate AI-generated scientific content for accuracy, depth, and conceptual soundness
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to refine model performance
- Ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of scientific clarity and precision

Who You Are
- Master's or PhD in Atmospheric Science, Climate Science, Environmental Science, or a closely related field
- Strong expertise in one or more areas: climate modeling, atmospheric dynamics, ecology, or sustainability
- Proficient in Python or R for research, data analysis, or modeling work
- Exceptional written communication skills — you can explain complex science with precision and clarity
- Detail-oriented and self-directed, comfortable working independently in an asynchronous environment

Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, content evaluation, or AI training workflows
- Background in scientific writing, peer review, or curriculum development
- Experience working across interdisciplinary environmental or climate research teams
