About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and efficient individual to contribute to student achievement, by the effective implementation and administration of the attendance management strategy.

Utilising your strong communication and interpersonal skills with young people and their parents/carers, alongside your excellent ICT skills you will make a real difference to the long-term success of our students.

What You'll Do

This role an integral part of both Student Support and Curriculum teams in proactively supporting the achievement of high levels of attendance from students and taking immediate action to deal with absence.

The role involves daily monitoring of student attendance data and follow up with students/parents/carers to check at to the reasons for absence and to encourage improved attendance where needed.

The Successful Candidate Must

  • Level 3 in relevant subject area (or equivalent)
  • Hold English and Maths GCSE (A*-C/9-4)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High level of organisational skills
