Role Overview
Oasis Academy MediaCity:UK is a leading academy within the Oasis Community Learning trust, comprising 56 academies across the UK and 10 international hubs. As longstanding champions of exceptional education, we are seeking a dedicated Attendance Manager to join our team on a term-time basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and enhancing student attendance, ensuring our young people receive the best possible learning opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
Your role will include:
- Monitoring and tracking student attendance
- Collaborating with parents, carers, and cross-department teams to support positive attendance
- Addressing barriers to learning and assisting students before attendance issues escalate
- Ensuring holiday and unauthorised absence policies are adhered to effectively
- Coordinating strategies to improve overall attendance rates within the academy
- Working closely with pastoral teams to support student welfare
Person Specification
We are looking for someone who can:
- Display an unwavering commitment to academic, personal, and pastoral excellence
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
- Demonstrate empathy and professionalism in interactions with students and families
