Attribute Lead Analysis Engineer – Durability & Reliability
We are seeking an Attribute Lead Analysis Engineer – Durability & Reliability to play a key role in defining and delivering durability and reliability performance across our vehicle programmes. This position sits close to vehicle testing and development, supporting the journey from early concept through to customer vehicles.
You will work with complex durability, reliability and customer data, transforming it into clear insights that support engineering decisions. The role involves close collaboration with vehicle engineering management, programme teams, commodity leaders, and the prototype workshop, contributing directly to high-performance vehicle development.
In this role, you will:
- Define, calculate, and maintain durability and reliability duty cycles at vehicle, system, and component levels.
- Carry out fatigue damage calculations, analyze road load and customer data, and support the set-up and use of instrumentation for data acquisition.
- Perform simulation, statistical analysis, and structured problem-solving.
- Communicate technical findings in a clear and accessible way to a range of stakeholders.
- Provide analytical support for durability-related issue resolution across vehicle programmes.

You will bring:
- Experience in durability, reliability, or related engineering analysis, with strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Comfort working with large and complex datasets.
- Experience using tools such as MATLAB, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Experience of road load data acquisition and automotive durability or testing environments is highly beneficial.
- Ability to collaborate across teams, balance detail with big-picture thinking, and translate technical analysis into clear recommendations that support decision-making.
This role offers the opportunity to work very closely with vehicle testing and real-world performance, contributing directly to the delivery of customer vehicles. You will be part of a collaborative and inclusive engineering environment, with opportunities to develop your technical expertise and progress within durability, reliability, or wider vehicle attribute teams.
