Auction Sales Executive
Auction Sales Executive – Central Car Auctions, Baillieston
About the Role
We’re recruiting a new Auction Sales Executive to support our everyday operations at Central Car Auctions, based in Baillieston. As well as handling vehicle listings, the role involves proactively engaging with existing customers to qualify their vehicle needs—boosting sales across our branches.
Ideal Candidate – a team player with strong problem-solving abilities and a drive to achieve success. You thrive in customer-facing roles and enjoy working under target deadlines.
Hours
- Full time (9–19 days per fortnight)
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:30am – 6:00pm
- Tuesday, Thursday: 8:30am – 5:30pm

Day-to-Day Duties
- Meet customer needs effectively to drive sales outcomes
- Negotiate sales with sellers and buyers in alignment with branch goals
- Progress transactions through clear, timely communication with all parties
- Hit daily/weekly/monthly targets
- Maintain accurate records of all sales and customer interactions
- Quality-check listings from both vendors and buyers
Essential Skills & Requirements
- Teamwork (collaborative mindset)
- Strong communication (written & verbal)
- Problem-solving prowess + ability to work independently
- Multitasking & prioritisation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills (emails, calls, meetings)
- Basic computer proficiency (spreadsheets, CRM systems)
- Full valid UK driving licence
