Role Overview

This role is responsible for supporting the execution of audience development strategies that drive engagement, growth, and retention across digital channels. The role collaborates cross-functionally to plan, deliver, and optimize audience-focused initiatives that increase reach, relevance, and sustained interaction with content, campaigns, and communications. The role applies judgment, analysis, and problem-solving within established policies and procedures to help ensure global strategies are effectively adapted to diverse audiences and distribution contexts.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute audience development initiatives to grow, engage, and retain defined audiences across digital platforms and channels.
  • Analyze audience behavior, engagement metrics, and performance data to evaluate effectiveness and identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Apply insights from data and testing to refine targeting, messaging, timing, and channel mix within established guidelines and best practices.
  • Coordinate audience-facing distribution efforts, including content promotion, channel optimization, and campaign support, to improve reach and engagement.
  • Contribute to the development and adaptation of audience-related assets, workflows, and documentation to support consistent global execution.
  • Monitor and report on audience growth and engagement metrics, preparing summaries and recommendations to inform ongoing optimization.
  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with established policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Content, and Customer-focused functions to align audience strategies with broader engagement and growth objectives.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required to support business needs.

  • Develops solutions for a variety of situations and works on projects requiring evaluation and analysis.

  • Work is performed independently and requires the exercise of judgment and discretion.
  • May receive some limited guidance for new assignments.
  • Work may be reviewed for overall adequacy.
  • Collaborates with management and team members within the department/function and other areas of the organization.
  • May represent the department internally or externally.
  • Actions may impact the success of the overall department and/or the organization.
  • Failure to accomplish work or erroneous decisions may result in delays to projects, loss of revenue, or the allocation of additional resources to remedy.

Qualifications

  • Preferred relevant experience in a related role or a comparable mix of training, education, and experience.
  • Ability to analyze audience, engagement, or performance data and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply judgment within defined guidelines and processes.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills suitable for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines in a structured environment.
  • Proficiency with common digital platforms, analytics tools, and reporting methods used to track audience performance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: University degree preferred.
  • German language preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience supporting audience growth, content distribution, or lifecycle engagement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with analytics, marketing automation, or audience measurement platforms.
  • Exposure to testing, experimentation, or optimization methodologies for digital channels.
  • Experience contributing to global or multi-market audience programs preferred.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

  • This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods and involves frequent use of a computer and other standard office equipment.
  • It also requires effective communication in person and through digital channels, occasional movement within the workspace, and handling of light materials (typically under 10 pounds).
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • It may be performed in an office, remote, or hybrid work environment, depending on business needs and applicable work arrangements.
  • Standard working hours apply, though flexibility may be required to accommodate deadlines or collaboration across time zones.
  • Travel may be required depending on business needs.
