Job Description

We are Global
At Global, we think big, work hard, and never stand still. We’re the proud home of the best media and entertainment, driven by our talented and passionate people. Our mission? To make everyone’s day brighter — our Globallers, our audiences, our partners, and our communities. Whether we’re in the studio, building world-class technology, or securing record Outdoor advertising partnerships, we make sure we’re doing it as a team.

Your Role: Audience Insight Assistant

As an Audience Insight Assistant at Global, you’ll support the delivery of brand and audience insight across Global, helping our Programming and Producer teams to make the best radio and podcasts they can. You’ll work closely with the Brand and Audience Insight team to help programmers better understand our radio stations and podcasts, and with the Marketing team to evaluate and improve the campaigns that support our brands. You’ll also support our Strategy and Senior Programming teams to help shape our products of the future.

As an Audience Insight Assistant at Global, you will:

Key Responsibilities

  • Insight delivery (40%): Help the Insight team deliver insight requests, providing clear, concise and relevant outputs to internal stakeholders, turning data into actionable recommendations.
  • Music testing (30%): Manage and support the music testing process across our radio stations to help ensure we are playing the best possible songs for our audiences.
  • Audience and market analysis (30%): Use RAJAR, digital listening data, Spotify and radio plays data to understand audience behaviour, track what’s happening in the music market and highlight areas for improvement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
