Audio Technician – elasticStage
Cutting Edge Music Tech - On-Demand Vinyl Records

About elasticStage
- By 2030, over 250 million music creators will exist globally, most excluded from physical formats due to high minimum runs and operational complexity.
- elasticStage solves this via patented on-demand vinyl and CD manufacturing technology, offering:
- A free-to-use platform for creators worldwide.
- Zero upfront costs or minimum quantity requirements.
- Rapid scaling: 100,000+ creators in the first year; 20X growth target by 2027.
- Strategic partnerships with SoundCloud and Amuse (more to progress).
- Global reach: Shipped to 90+ countries and rated 4.7★ on Trustpilot/Google.
- Recent £30M funding and new office in Kings Cross.
The Role
Audit and sustainability are underpinned by world-class audio infrastructure. As Audio Technician, you’ll support the design, installation, commissioning, maintenance and organization of audio systems across our engineering facilities.
You’ll:
- Partner with senior audio systems engineers to deploy and maintain hardware/software infrastructure.
- Actively contribute to troubleshooting, fault-finding, and hardware/client repair.
- Maintain high standards in equipment storage, workshop organization and workshop documentation.
- Provide technical support where needed, including QA team assistance.
You’re joining a fast-growing engineering operation where your hands-on expertise is vital, but you’re not responsible for creative music production or critical listening.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
