Audio Transcription Specialist (AI Training)
About The Role
What if your sharp ears and attention to detail could directly shape how AI understands human speech? We're looking for Audio Transcription Specialists to convert real audio recordings into accurate written text — work that sits at the heart of how AI learns to listen, interpret, and respond to the human voice.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with strong listening skills and a commitment to accuracy. No professional transcription experience required.
Organization: Alignerr
Type: Hourly Contract
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
- Transcribe a variety of audio recordings into clean, accurate written text
- Handle diverse content including varying accents, speeds, and audio quality levels
- Apply consistent formatting, punctuation, and style guidelines to all transcriptions
- Flag unclear or inaudible segments and note speaker changes where relevant
- Meet quality and turnaround targets for each batch of assignments
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
