Audio Visual Installation Engineer
The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Audio Visual Engineer to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and support of AV systems, ensuring high-quality delivery and customer satisfaction. This role will require a mix of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and strong customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain AV equipment, including projectors, interactive displays, video conferencing systems, and sound systems.
- Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements and provide recommendations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing on-site and remote support as needed.
- Work closely with clients to ensure systems are installed and operating correctly.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and support, to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Keep up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations during installations and service work.

Based M4 corridor - West London to West Berkshire - the role offers an excellent salary package circa £40k p.a. (doe/neg) plus benefits including pension, training, and van (when required)
Your skills and experience
- Proven experience in AV installation, maintenance, and support.
- Strong knowledge of AV systems, including video conferencing, digital signage, projection, and audio distribution.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Experience working with brands such as Biamp, Yealink, AMX, and Crestron or similar.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Qualifications
- CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or equivalent certification.
- Electrical or networking qualifications would be an advantage.
- Experience in programming control systems (e.g., Crestron, AMX).
