Audio Visual Technician

Our Opportunity

Our AV Technicians are champions at delivering an exceptional level of service to our clients. They’ll be the main point of contact for client event technical needs, assisting with prior and on the day of event needs. It’s a varied role supporting the Events team on external event hires, BAFTA events and screenings.

The AV Technician is responsible for delivering high-quality technical support, expertise, and operational execution across BAFTA screenings, events, exhibitions, and corporate hires at 195 Piccadilly.

Working closely with the Technical Manager and wider teams, the role ensures the seamless delivery of all audio-visual services while maintaining BAFTA’s reputation for technical excellence. The AV Technician will also contribute to the evaluation and implementation of emerging technologies, ensuring the venue remains at the forefront of industry standards.

Who You Are?

  • You’ll be passionate about bringing excellence in service to all guests and have some experience in a service delivery role.
  • You’ll have excellent knowledge on all AV formats and good timekeeping and adaptability.
  • You’ll be able to work on your own initiative and have a great attention to detail.
