22.5 Hours & Permanent

Salary: Up to £50,000.00 FTE per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

The Clementine Churchill Hospital in Harrow Is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for an Audiologist to join their team of staff in the Audiology department.

This is a part-time role for 22.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties Of This Role Include

Conduct a full range of audiological assessments including pure tone audiometry, tympanometry, speech testing, acoustic reflexes, and otoacoustic emissions. Perform hearing aid evaluations and fittings based on audiological profiles and patient needs. Assist in balance and vestibular testing, where appropriately trained. Recommend, fit, and adjust hearing aids or assistive listening devices using Real Ear Measurements and patient feedback. Provide counselling and education to patients and families on hearing loss, device usage, communication strategies, and ongoing hearing management. Monitor patient progress and carry out follow-ups, reprogramming, and repairs of hearing devices as required.

Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria

BSc (Hons) in Audiology or equivalent qualification approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). HCPC or RCCP registration as an Audiologist (or working towards registration). Clinical experience in audiological assessment, hearing aid fitting, and hearing rehabilitation. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with patients of all ages. Good organisational and time management skills. Competence with audiological software, equipment, and digital hearing aid systems. Experience in a specialist area such as paediatrics, tinnitus management, or vestibular diagnostics. NHS or private sector experience in a busy audiology or ENT service. Experience working with electronic patient record (EPR) systems and audiology reporting software. Evidence of audit, research, or involvement in service improvement projects. Membership of BAA, BSA, or other relevant professional bodies.
