Specsavers Falkirk is seeking an Audiology Admin Assistant to join their growing team. For our stores to run smoothly and keep patients at the heart of everything we do, outstanding support is essential behind the scenes.
About the Role
You’ll support every aspect of hear care administration, ensuring smooth daily operations. Duties include:
- Answering, transferring, and prioritising calls
- Updating and filing patient records
- Processing invoices and creating correspondence
- Providing top-tier administrative support to the store
The ideal candidate will:
- Prioritise tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy
- Adapt to changing workloads with a flexible, proactive approach
- Balance office/call centre work with front-of-shop duties
Key Responsibilities
Core Duties
- Assist with minor hearing aid repairs (full training provided)
- Provide customers with clear information on services and products
- Order stock to keep the store fully supplied
- Conduct monthly stocktakes
- Conduct pre-screening and appointment bookings
- Manage daily banking transactions

Customer & Call Management
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, or carers
- Handle pre-appointment calls to improve efficiency
- Call and triage booked appointments to optimise scheduling
The Store & Location
- Based at Specsavers Falkirk, well-linked by public transport and major roads
- Ideal for both commuters and residents

Person Specification
We’re looking for someone who is:
✅ Highly organised with outstanding attention to detail ✅ Thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment ✅ Possesses an excellent telephone manner ✅ Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) ✅ Capable of managing clinic diaries with precision ✅ A strong communicator with both colleagues and patients
Ideal (but not mandatory): Previous experience in clinic administration or healthcare support
