Job Opportunity: Audiology Services Manager
Overview
This is a great time to join The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as the Audiology Services Manager.
About the Role
A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Audiology Manager to join Hillingdon Hospital. You will be working with our four teams that make up this service including:
- Adult Audiology
- Paediatric Audiology
- Hearing Therapy
- Newborn Hearing Screening
This will be a job-share with our existing manager. We are fortunate to have a brand new build at Hillingdon Hospital which our Adult team are moving into this month. We also have a bespoke unit on our Mount Vernon site with excellent facilities for our paediatric patients. The audiology service sits within the Therapies service in the Unplanned Care Division, boasting the close networking and support of other senior managers in this service.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-lead and facilitate the development and performance of the Trust’s Audiology, Hearing Therapy, and Newborn Hearing Services ensuring that service provision is safe, effective, and reflects best practice.
- Be an effective member of the Trust’s Unplanned Care Division, making a professional and personal contribution.
- Responsible for financially and operationally managing adult audiology, hearing therapy, paediatric audiology, and newborn hearing screening services.
- Hold a small caseload within the paediatric audiology team.

About the Trust
The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including:
- Accident and emergency
- Inpatient care
- Day surgery
- Outpatient clinics
- Maternity services
The Trust’s services at Mount Vernon Hospital include:
- Routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre
- A minor injuries unit
- Outpatient clinics
