Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager
London - £60,000 - £65,000 + Hybrid Working + Outstanding Career Progression

We're working with one of London's most highly regarded independent accountancy practices to recruit an ambitious Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager. If you're ACA or ACCA qualified and looking for a role that combines audit, accounts and client advisory work, you'll be joining a firm where you'll be challenged, supported and given genuine opportunities to progress.
Working alongside experienced Managers and Partners, you'll take ownership of a varied client portfolio while mentoring junior team members and playing an integral role in the continued success of the department.
The Opportunity
As an Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager, you'll lead audit assignments from planning through to completion while also overseeing the preparation and review of statutory accounts. You'll enjoy a broad and varied workload, giving you exposure to audit, financial reporting and advisory projects across a diverse client base.

Your Responsibilities
- Manage audit assignments from planning through to completion.
- Prepare and review statutory accounts for a varied portfolio of clients.
- Review the work of Audit & Accounts Seniors and trainees, providing coaching and technical support.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted day-to-day contact.
- Support the delivery of corporation tax and wider compliance work.
- Identify opportunities to provide additional advisory services and add value to clients.
- Work closely with Managers and Partners on more complex assignments and business development initiatives.
- Mentor and develop junior members of the team.
About You
- ACA or ACCA qualified.
- Strong UK accountancy practice experience across both audit and accounts.
- Experience leading audits and reviewing accounts preparation.
- Excellent knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards.
- A strong academic and professional track record, ideally with first-time ACA or ACCA passes.
- Commercially aware, proactive and committed to delivering an exceptional client experience.
- An approachable leader who enjoys developing people as well as client relationships.
