Audit & Accounts Senior
Bournemouth | £42,000 - £50,000 + Hybrid Working + Clear Route to Manager
If you're an Audit & Accounts Senior looking to join a growing firm where your development is genuinely supported and your career progression isn't left to chance, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.
We're working with a highly successful and expanding accountancy practice that is continuing to invest heavily in its Audit team. Due to sustained growth and an increasing client base, the firm is looking to appoint an Audit & Accounts Senior to join its Bournemouth office.
This role offers a varied client portfolio, exposure to both audit and accounts work, and a clear pathway towards Assistant Manager and Manager level. You'll be joining a collaborative team environment where technical excellence is valued, but so is developing people.
The Opportunity
As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you'll work closely with Managers and Partners to deliver high-quality services to a diverse portfolio of clients, including owner-managed businesses, SMEs, corporate groups and charitable organisations.
You'll take ownership of audit assignments, build strong client relationships and play an active role in supporting and developing junior team members.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to broaden their technical experience while increasing their responsibility and client exposure.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
