- Proactively lead and manage a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors.
- Plan, execute, and complete audit and accounts assignments in line with regulatory standards.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members.
- Review work and ensure high-quality deliverables, reporting to directors.
- Attend client and prospect client meetings and build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Work alongside the leadership team and liaising with internal departments.
- Contribute to business development and the growth of the firm.
- Assist the directors with ad hoc advisory services and special work.
- Manage work in progress and billing including agreement of fees on your portfolio of engagements.
Skills and experience we're looking for in an Audit and Accounts Manager:
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
- Previous experience in audit and accounts.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- A proactive and client-focused approach.
- Full UK driving licence.
