About the Role
Are you an audit and accounts professional looking for your next step in a practice where you'll be genuinely valued, supported, and given the tools to grow?
Our client is a well-established and forward-thinking accountancy practice based in Beaconsfield, and they're looking to strengthen their team with two permanent hires, at both Semi-Senior and Senior level.
Whether you're part-qualified and building momentum in your career, or you're more experienced and ready to take on greater responsibility, there could be a role here for you. Both positions offer hands-on exposure to a diverse client portfolio, a clearly defined progression path, and a team environment that genuinely invests in its people.
What You'll Be Doing
Depending on your level, your day-to-day will include a mix of the following:
- Supporting and leading on the planning and completion of audit assignments
- Preparing statutory accounts for a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors
- Applying UK accounting standards and compliance requirements accurately and confidently
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, responding to queries in a professional and timely manner
- Working closely with both junior and senior members of the team, contributing to shared deliverables
- Taking on greater autonomy and responsibility as your experience and confidence grow (Senior level)

What We're Looking For
We're recruiting at two levels, and the right fit will depend on where you are in your journey:
Audit & Accounts Semi Senior
- Around 2 years' experience within an accountancy practice
- Certificate Level qualified, with 4 or more Professional Level exams passed (ACA or ACCA)
- Candidates with stronger practical experience who are not yet exam-qualified are also encouraged to apply
- Detail-oriented and proactive, with a genuine drive to keep developing technically and professionally
Audit & Accounts Senior
- 3 or more years' experience working within an accountancy practice
- Qualified by experience, or qualified through professional exams (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Solid working knowledge of UK accounting standards and compliance requirements
- Proven experience managing a varied client portfolio with confidence
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with demonstrable client-facing experience

- Experience working across a broad range of sectors and client sizes
- A desire to mentor or support more junior colleagues (particularly at Senior level)
