About the Role
This Audit position is ideal for professionals with 2–3 years of experience in Financial/Operational Audit, offering broad exposure to company processes and business units.
Responsibilities
What You Deliver
Work as a core team member throughout planning, execution, and reporting phases, gaining diverse business exposure. Key tasks include:

Execute all three phases of the internal audit process:
- Planning: Assist in defining scope, methodologies, and timelines.
- Execution: Conduct data analysis, inquiries, and control testing across:
- Financial operations
- Operational compliance
- Regulatory and legal requirements
- Technology, cyber security, and risk management
- Reporting: Draft clear, detailed audit work papers including:
- Root-cause findings
- Work performed
- Recommendations

Apply professional standards (e.g., US GAAP, policies, best practices) while applying judgment in:
- Determining compliance (processes vs. requirements).
- Identifying significant risks and ineffective controls.
- Evaluating corrective actions for areas of concern.

Summarize findings, test controls, and recommend improvements (methodology, tools, or training) to strengthen audit quality.

Contribute to team objectives and complete additional duties as needed.

Educational, Experience, and Skill Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree required in:
- Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
- Policy note: Comcast considers candidates with partial degree completion + relevant experience on merit.

Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory)
- AICPA CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), or CPA (Chartered Accountant), or CISA (Certification in Information Systems Audit).
Experience
- 2–3 years in internal or external audit (financial/operational).
- Industry Insight (Bonus): Experience in Cable, Media, Telecom, or Regulated utilities is a plus.
Skill Set
- Adaptable: Quick learner, able to thrive in high-pressure/turbine circumstances.
- Technical Edge: Familiarity with data analytics, cyber controls, and automation (e.g. RPA) benefits your candidacy.
