Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an Audit Assistant Manager to join our growing Audit team.
In this role, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of audit clients, building trusted relationships while delivering an exceptional client experience. About the role
- Take ownership of a portfolio of audit clients, managing relationships, and delivering a high-quality client experience while identifying opportunities to support their ongoing growth and success.
- Plan, prioritise, and oversee audit assignments from start to finish, ensuring work is delivered efficiently, within budget, and in line with Kreston Reeves' quality standards.
- Review and deliver complex audit work, including consolidations and technical audit areas, while resolving issues and providing guidance on more challenging assignments.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication, leading audit planning and close meetings, and providing proactive advice that adds value beyond the audit.
- Work collaboratively with Partners and colleagues across the firm to deliver joined-up client service and identify opportunities to introduce additional Kreston Reeves services.
- Lead, coach, and develop Audit Seniors, Semi Seniors, and Assistants, providing clear direction, ongoing feedback, and support to help them reach their full potential.
- Monitor workflow, budgets, billing, and audit file completion, ensuring deadlines are met, compliance requirements are maintained, and work is completed to the highest professional standards.
- Support the continued growth of the Audit team by contributing to business development activities, networking, client meetings, presentations, and thought leadership where appropriate.
- Champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance audit efficiency, improve processes, and deliver exceptional client service.
