Role Details

  • Mid-Tier Practice from either SME or Mid-Tier Practice below the Top 10
  • Up to £56k basic plus rapid career progression, overtime, and up to £8k bonus = £64k Package Year 1
  • Manager in 12 months and SM in 18-24 months, and Partner in 5 years (earning £200k plus), this has happened many times before at this firm.

I am hiring for a rapidly growing Top 60 Accounting Firms in the UK that is part of a worldwide network that has developed some of the youngest Partners I have seen in my 22 years of hiring for audit firms. My clients provide services to corporate clients (non-FS) across every main industry sector, including Start-Ups, High Net Worth Individuals, VC and PE backed organisations, and UK Subs of Multinationals.

Job Requirements

  • You will be a qualified or almost qualified senior and have a Mid-Tier Top 100 External Audit background and be in a practice outside of the Top 10, working on a non-listed corporate client portfolio.
  • It would be an advantage if you have experience of Accounts Preparation or Tax with SME or OMB clients.
  • You will require excellent working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
  • ACA/ACCA/CA/ICAS Fully Qualified (or overseas equivalent) in an external audit role.
  • Your experience needs to be corporate (non-FS) across any industry sector, with experience of clients with turnovers typically ranging from £5 million to £350 million.

Opportunities

  • There would be scope to get involved in Advisory engagements including Transaction Services and Corporate Finance Advisory, if your clients are going through a merger, buyout or public listing at my client.
  • There would be leadership paths into Corporate Finance and M&A Lead Advisory going forward as well, an area my client has a thriving offering in, with a 12-18 month trajectory into this area envisaged for the right individual.
