A well-established and growing independent accountancy practice is seeking an ambitious Audit Assistant Manager to join its expanding Audit & Assurance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified audit professional looking to develop their leadership skills while working with a diverse client portfolio across a range of sectors.

Description
As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit services while supporting the development of junior team members. You will work closely with Managers and Partners, taking ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion.

Key Responsibilities Include
- Leading audit assignments for a varied portfolio of clients.
- Planning, coordinating and reviewing audit work.
- Managing on-site and remote audit teams.
- Reviewing statutory accounts and audit files.
- Identifying risks and ensuring compliance with relevant auditing standards.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members.
- Assisting Managers and Partners with business development and practice growth initiatives.
Profile
The Successful Candidate Will Ideally Have
- ACA or ACCA qualification (or be qualified by experience).
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice audit environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards.
- Experience supervising and reviewing the work of junior staff.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
- A proactive and commercial approach to problem-solving.
