The Role
As an Associate Director, you’ll take responsibility for managing your own portfolio, working closely with partners to deliver exceptional results.
- You’ll manage an entire client portfolio, including listed companies.
- You’ll plan and deliver audits on time, on budget, and to the highest standards, ensuring compliance with listing requirements.
- You’ll assist with advice on technical matters, particularly for clients operating under more stringent regulatory frameworks.
- You’ll develop client relationships, acting as the principal contact for CFOs, CEOs, and boards within your portfolio.
- You’ll manage, mentor, and train team members, providing performance management and career development support.
- You’ll identify new business opportunities to support client relationships and growth at Gravita.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience
We’re looking for someone with deep experience of running a portfolio, in addition to being ACA or ACCA qualified, you’ll:
- Have outstanding communication and influencing skills, particularly when working with senior stakeholders such as CFOs and boards.
- Be comfortable navigating the complex reporting and compliance requirements of listed companies.
- Have excellent project management skills and ensure that multiple projects are successfully delivered without drama.
- Enjoy building strong, trusted relationships with people, often resulting in engaged teams and additional client work.
- Be happy to get your hands dirty, engaging in whatever tasks are required to get the job done.
- Value feedback and thrive in an environment where people are always learning and improving.
- Be happy in a hybrid working environment, working effectively both remotely and in the office.

- Our standard working week is a 37.5-hour week on a hybrid basis
- Core working hours are 10am - 4pm Monday to Friday
