What you will be doing

  • Assisting with audit planning and fieldwork, including research, documentation, and coordination.
  • Performing AML procedures and assist in setting up audit files using Caseware.
  • Sending out confirmation and PBC requests (with oversight from senior team members).
  • Completing assigned sections of audit files such as cash, expenses, capital, investments, and realised gains/losses.
  • Preparing and maintaining high-quality audit workpapers to support audit reports.
  • Conducting testing of key controls, perform process walkthroughs, and document narratives.
  • Carrying out TOT and reference checks on financial statements to ensure accuracy.
  • Learning to prepare clear and accurate Excel workings for audit testing.
  • Gaining client exposure through participation in calls and collaboration with engagement teams.

What you will need

We are looking for exceptional graduates who are ready to stand out. Ideal candidates will:

  • Be currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline, with a strong academic track record.
  • Bring a curious, analytical mindset and a passion for solving complex problems.
  • Have a working knowledge - or a strong academic foundation - in IFRS and GAAP, with a keen interest in applying this in real-world scenarios.
  • Demonstrate sharp logic and technical problem-solving abilities, and the drive to investigate and resolve issues independently.
  • Be confident working in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel, and open to developing advanced skills.
  • Possess a meticulous attention to detail, with clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Be highly organised, adaptable, and comfortable managing competing priorities.
  • Thrive both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
  • Have legal entitlement to work in Ireland.
