The Role

We are looking for an ambitious Audit Associate Manager to join our growing Northern Ireland audit team. This role is ideal for either a newly qualified or experienced auditor who is ready to take the next step in their career. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality audits, leading sections of engagements, and supporting the development of junior team members while continuing to build your own technical and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the management of a portfolio of audit clients
  • Leading audits in the field, from planning through to completion under Manager/Partner supervision
  • Identifying audit risks and contributing to effective audit strategies
  • Ensuring audit work is completed in line with professional standards and firm methodology
  • Reviewing the work of junior team members and providing constructive feedback
  • Coaching and supporting trainees and seniors in their development
  • Building strong working relationships with clients and acting as a key day-to-day contact
  • Assisting with the financial management of audit engagements
  • Supporting business development and firm-wide initiatives

The Person

  • ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualified or newly qualified
  • Proven experience in corporate audit, including managing audit engagements
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-lasting client relationships
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build effective client relationships
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • An interest in developing leadership and people-management skills
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • A collaborative approach and a genuine desire to progress
