Audit Change Analyst – Elevate Programme for early careers talent

Location: Belfast, 3 days/week onsite

Start Date: 10th August 2026

Contract: Full-time, with strong potential for progression

Join the Elevate Programme and launch your career at a leading professional services organisation. Over 18 months, you will receive structured training, mentoring, and hands-on experience in risk, compliance, and independence operations. You will work alongside experienced professionals from day one, take on meaningful responsibility, and build skills that enable progression into specialist, advisory, or operational roles.

Your Role

Start your career in business risk and compliance operations with a role that gives you real responsibility from day one.

We're hiring Audit / Channel Change Analysts through our Elevate Programme in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their career who enjoys analytical problem-solving, interpreting policies, working with stakeholders, and supporting critical business decisions.

In this role, you'll help support the firm's Independence function by providing guidance to engagement teams across the business. You'll assist with independence assessments, support audit tender activities, review client and service-related requests, and help ensure the firm complies with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.

If you're someone who enjoys investigating issues, applying judgement, and helping others navigate complex processes, this could be a great fit.

What you'll be doing

You'll be responsible for supporting Independence processes and helping engagement teams navigate regulatory and policy requirements confidently and effectively.

Your day-to-day work is likely to include:

  • Supporting audit engagement teams with independence assessments relating to audit tenders and prospective client opportunities.
  • Assisting with independence activities associated with audit client rotation and ensuring systems and records are updated accurately.
  • Providing guidance to engagement teams across all lines of service regarding the permissibility of non-audit services and technology solutions.
  • Helping interpret and apply Independence policies and external regulations, including requirements from bodies such as the FRC, IESBA, and SEC.
  • Reviewing and responding to queries submitted by the business, providing practical guidance based on policy and specific circumstances.
  • Supporting key operational processes within the Channel Change team that contribute to the effective management of Independence activities.
  • Managing a portfolio of consultations and assessments while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Escalating complex cases where appropriate and working collaboratively to reach effective outcomes.
  • Contributing to projects, process improvements, and other Independence-related initiatives as required.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documenting decisions in line with established procedures and controls.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
