Audit Executive
Location: Maidenhead (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days home)
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
An established Top 20 UK accountancy and advisory firm is looking to appoint an Audit Executive to join its growing audit team. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified ACA/ACCA/ICAS professional or someone with up to 1 year PQE looking to further develop their career within a supportive and progressive environment.
The Role
You'll work with a varied portfolio of clients, taking responsibility for audit assignments, building strong client relationships, and supporting the development of junior team members.

Key responsibilities include:
- Managing client communications and audit scheduling
- Planning and delivering audit assignments
- Identifying key risk areas and appropriate audit approaches
- Reviewing and supervising the work of junior team members
- Monitoring budgets, deadlines, and work in progress
- Supporting clients with compliance and statutory filing requirements
- Identifying opportunities to add value and introduce additional services where appropriate
About You
- ACA, ACCA or ICAS qualified
- Newly qualified or up to 1 year post-qualified experience
- Audit experience gained within an accountancy practice
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Experience supervising or reviewing junior staff
- Organised, commercially aware, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Good working knowledge of Excel and audit software packages
