Description
- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Review financial statements and audit reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members to develop their technical and professional skills.
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide expert advice on accounting and audit matters.
- Identify and address potential risks or issues during engagements and propose practical solutions.
- Ensure effective communication with clients and internal teams throughout the audit process.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to business development activities by identifying opportunities to expand client services.

Profile
A Successful Audit Manager Should Have
- A recognised qualification in accounting (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in leading audit engagements within a mid-tier accountancy firm.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering client-focused solutions.
- Experience in managing and mentoring team members to achieve their potential.
