Your Key Responsibilities
As an Audit Manager (Senior Engagement), you will:
- Assess and manage audit engagements proactively, ensuring technical excellence.
- Collaborate effectively with Senior Managers, Directors, and Partners while managing your workload independently.
- Provide reliable, transparent reporting to stakeholders, ensuring compliance and value.

How You Measure Up
BDO is seeking candidates with:
- Professional Qualification: ACCA/ACA/ICAS or a recognised overseas equivalent.
- Supervisory Experience: Proven ability to manage people and teams.
- Technical Expertise: Solid grasp of:
- UK & International GAAS
- IFRS, UK GAAP & financial reporting
- Regulatory Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with:
- Financial products & firm services
- Advisory & regulatory issues
- AML (Anti-Money Laundering)
- Audit & Controls Knowledge: Experience in:
- Systems/controls testing
- Substantive auditing
- Consolidations, group audits, statutory accounts & disclosures
- Project Management: Experience in delivering audit engagements efficiently.
