About the Role

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Audit Director looking to take the next step into Partnership, or an established Audit Partner seeking a fresh challenge within a growing and ambitious accountancy practice.

The firm combines the strength of a leading regional practice with the resources and expertise of a wider national network, offering Partners the opportunity to shape the future of the audit function while retaining the collaborative culture and client focus of an independent firm.

This is a strategic leadership role where you'll have genuine influence over the direction of the audit service line, working closely with fellow Partners to drive growth, develop people and deliver exceptional client service. The position offers significant autonomy, the opportunity to build your own portfolio and the chance to play a key role in the firm's continued expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Client Leadership

  • Lead a diverse audit portfolio, delivering high quality audit and assurance services to SMEs, owner managed businesses, mid market companies and larger corporate groups.
  • Build trusted, long term relationships with clients, acting as a strategic business adviser.
  • Ensure exceptional client service while identifying opportunities to deliver additional value across the firm's wider service offering.

Business Development & Growth

  • Drive the continued growth of the audit practice through new business generation and strategic relationship development.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and increase market presence.
  • Contribute to the development of the firm's audit offering and long term growth strategy.
  • Work collaboratively with Partners across other service lines to maximise client opportunities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
